Snow day.

Since I didn’t have to go to work anyway, I probably shouldn’t call it a snow day, but I did have to reschedule an appointment so I’m going to.

It’s almost noon and it’s still snowing pretty good. It’s the big, wet flakes that make lovely piles on even the tiniest little horizontal surface. I took some pictures this morning but I’ll have to take more this afternoon if it keeps up. I’m waiting until it stops actually snowing before I go out into the street to take a picture of the front of the house, because I learned from Pookie and Schnookie (who had to learn the hard way) that cameras aren’t that tough when they get wet.

My lovely sister (in Tulsa) is probably so sick of snow that she won’t want to see pictures of it, but maybe she’ll enjoy seeing some other city get snowed on for a change.

Here are a few that I took this morning.

The first one is so Christmas-y with the red holly berries! These are so lovely. The neighborhood looks so peaceful, and your tree is gorgeous!

  1. Thanks, Pookie! It’s tripled now since I took those pictures. 14 hours later and still steadily snowing. (And nothing under the tree. Heh.)
